770 Eastern Parkway - The Rebbe's Shul 

770 is the street address of the Chabad - Lubavitch Chassidic headquarters, located on Eastern Parkway, in the Hasidic neighborhood of Crown Heights in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

 

The building is the center of the Lubavitch world movement and was also the residence and office of the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yossef Yitzchak, from 1940 until his death in 1950; as well as the Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson's office (and sometimes residence), as soon as he arrived in the United States in 1941.

 

The 770 is also one of the largest Yechivot of the United States and hosts one of the largest Jewish bookstore in the world.
